Pee wee class for children under the age of 10 years old.

This class is specially designed for children from the age of 4 years up to 10 years old.

In this class children are taught karate in a friendly and fun environment. This is a great class where they are not only taught just karate, but in this class they are taught healthy lifestyle through fitness, respect for themselves and others, self confidence, self defense, how to asses dangerous situations and other issues in day to day life such as bullying, which sadly is now a major problem in society today.

All classes begin with a traditional warm up which includes warming up and stretching the body for injury prevention, also included in this are various exercises for balance, timing and co-ordination which are essential for young children during their developing years. Once warmed up the class runs through various different training drills, such as basic stances, punching, kicking and blocking skills, Kata (forms or a pattern of different attacking and defending techniques), fitness and flexibility drills and also free sparring. The free sparring is a non contact style of sparring with protective equipment such as a head guard, mouth guard, gloves and shin instep protectors are worn.
